The 3 larger snare drums in my collection. On top is the Steve Ferrone signature snare from Pearl. It’s actually signed on the inside by Steve himself for me. In the middle is my Ron Dunnett titanium snare. It’s 13×7 with a set of 30-strand Puresound wires installed. On the bottom is my Pearl Masterworks. It’s 6-plys of birch and two outside plys of maple. It has a 20-strand set of Puresound wires on it.

These are beautiful drums. I wish for one like this. Using a Yamaha Birch on my big set and a vintage Rogers chrome on my vintage jazz set. I love the sound of the Pearls. Cool.
