Gray brings me down.

We’re gonna need to get some sun down here before too long. This string of gray days is depressing. Back when I was at Intergraph, my last office was in the middle of the building with absolutely ZERO windows. There weren’t even windows on the outer office either. Gray days really didn’t matter then. Now, my desk sits right beside an 8′ tall window where I can see into our parking lot… and the pink building across it.

Been working on paperwork most of the morning so far. I’ll probably spend the rest of the day researching some new software to use for some upcoming projects. Band practice is tonight. Nothing out of the ordinary on the schedule so it should all go smoothly. Ahhh….

I love the sigh at the end! You’re funny!!
The entire back wall of our office is HUGE windows! I love them, I’m a BIG fan of natural light!! Here’s the problem though: on nice days, there’s so much sun I can’t see my monitor! On gray days, there’s not nearly enough light to make me want to function

About THE J-Mo

A somewhat eclectic collection of my thoughts, images and opinions. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes serious... you never know. I've got an interesting group of friends who typically provide endless hours of entertainment and fodder for the blog. I don't spend ALL my time with my friends though. When I'd rather be by myself, I can be found watching F1 racing on TV (or in person), playing my drums or working on some photography projects. By day I work at a design studio. I have an opportunity to work on a myriad of projects, but mainly those relating to the web and other "new media" are what I'm involved in. A large part of what I do also incorporates photography. It's a nice mix since I'm exposed to several different types of photo needs and situations for work which then helps me when I'm working on personal photo projects - and vice versa.
